1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using RefShare AU ("the platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of Australian courts.

2. What RefShare AU is

RefShare AU is a community marketplace where users share and discover referral codes for Australian brands. We facilitate connections between people who have referral codes and people who want to use them.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a representative of any brand listed on the platform unless explicitly stated.

3. User accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You may not create multiple accounts or impersonate others
• Your display handle must not impersonate brands, public figures, or other users

4. Submitting referral codes

By submitting a code, you confirm that:

• The code is genuine and belongs to you or you have the right to share it
• The code details (reward, expiry, conditions) are accurate to the best of your knowledge
• You are not violating the brand's referral program terms by sharing the code publicly

We reserve the right to remove codes that are fraudulent, expired, or violate brand terms without notice.

5. Prohibited conduct

You must not:

• Submit fake, expired, or misleading referral codes
• Use the platform to spam, scam, or defraud other users
• Share another user's private contact details without their consent
• Attempt to manipulate vote counts or reputation scores
• Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-submit codes
• Use the private messaging system to send unsolicited commercial messages

6. Affiliate links and commissions

RefShare AU may include affiliate links to brand websites. We may earn a commission when users click through and sign up. All affiliate relationships are disclosed. Commissions are paid by brands and do not affect users' referral codes or rewards in any way.

7. Disclaimers

RefShare AU does not guarantee:

• That any referral code will work or be accepted by the relevant brand
• That referral rewards will be paid by brands to either party
• The accuracy or completeness of code information submitted by users
• Continuous, uninterrupted access to the platform

Use of referral codes is subject to each brand's own terms and conditions.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, RefShare AU is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including failed referrals, missed rewards, or disputes between users.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon deletion, your submitted codes and match history will be removed from public view.

10. Changes to terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance. Significant changes will be communicated via email where possible.
